Nigeria concluded its campaign at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, finishing 40th on the medal table with seven medals: two gold, three silver, and two bronze.

  • Onyinyechi Mark set a new Paralympic record by winning gold in the Women’s 61kg Para Powerlifting with a lift of 145kg.
  • Bose Omolayo claimed silver in the Women’s up to 79kg Para Powerlifting category, lifting 145kg.
  • Flora Ugwunwa won silver in the Women’s Javelin F54 category with a throw of 19.26m.
  • Esther Nworgu earned silver in the Women’s up to 41kg Para Powerlifting category.
  • Isau Ogunkunle made history with a bronze in the Men’s Singles Class 4 Para Table Tennis, becoming the first Nigerian to win an individual medal in the sport since the 2000 Sydney Games.
  • Flora Ugwunwa also secured silver in the Para Athletics Women’s Javelin Throw event.
  • Bolaji Eniola won bronze in Para Badminton Women’s Singles.
  • Folashade Oluwafemiayo took home gold in the Women’s over 86kg Para Powerlifting, setting a new world record by lifting 166kg, making her the first Para-athlete to achieve this in history.
