Nigerian leaders and dignitaries arrived Kastina to pay last respect to late Muhammad’s Buhari
The burial of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is taking place today in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.

Buhari’s body arrived in Katsina from London, accompanied by Vice President Kashim Shettima, and was received by President Bola Tinubu. The burial is scheduled to take place at 2 pm in Daura, according to Islamic rites.
Several dignitaries are attending the burial, including, President Bola Tinubu who has arrived in Katsina for the funeral, and former Vice Presidents, Yemi Osinbajo and Atiku Abubakar
Other Leaders, Governors, senators, and other high-ranking officials are also present.

The Katsina State government, led by Governor Dikko Radda, has made arrangements for the burial in consultation with Buhari’s family and close associates.
President Tinubu has declared a seven-day national mourning period, with flags flying at half-mast until July 20, in respect of the late former president.
